Blighted Bellies n Pelvic Dreams

My journey to having a baby as a 38 yo with undetected Pelvic Inflammation Disease

My darling step-daughter & Mothers Day

on April 24, 2013

I havent mentioned it before, but my darling Ranga partner has a (mostly gorgeous!) nearly 18yo, TAFE attending daughter, that he loves, idolizes and loves more beyond belief. She is great. I am known as her other mother xo Bless her cotton socks xo

In the past I have received the occasional Mothers Day card which is just lovely. I kiss her, cuddle her and love her back. When she turns the tears form, not from offense but from sheer pleasure and thoughtfulness. One year she even asked me was Mothers Day today or tomorrow, for no reason even tho she was with us the whole weekend. Hint hint!

Yesterday, while killing time before transfer and doing some shopping, she joined us and it was lovely. We spent time with her, chatted, updated her on the ivf and got to cuddle her lots!

Something must have been said between her and I while we were waiting for darling Ranga to finish a purchase when she said, “So, what do you want for Mothers Day this year?” I just looked at her and smiled. She knew. She understood me and said, “I really hope so too!”

Gotta just love the girl xoxo
