Blighted Bellies n Pelvic Dreams

My journey to having a baby as a 38 yo with undetected Pelvic Inflammation Disease

Migraines by the mouthful……

on April 15, 2013

As I wait in Limboland for our frozen egg transfer, I am taking oestrogen tablets (used in hormone replacement therapy), preparing my lining to thicken and hold 2 lil ranga embryos. The side effect for me is persistent headaches and possibly even a migraine on the weekend. Never had one before so just presuming thats what it was!

Ouchy!

TV noise hurts, the radio hurts, darling Ranga partner whippy-snipping outside hurts! My forehead is in constant pain, like I am perpetually frowning.

I visited the gyno today who told me to take whatever I need to relieve it but not ibruprofen. As a very rare taker of any tablets, I went n visited the pharmacist. She gave me advise, taking everything into consideration but said the tablets may not take the ache away as its hormonal but should reduce or dull it a bit.

Uh oh! Not working and its been over an hour since I popped the first pill. First day back at school tomorrow after 2 weeks easter break. How the HELL am I going to cope?????????
